Actif Woods Denbighshire and Flintshire

Coed Lleol (Small Woods Wales) runs woodland health and wellbeing activity groups in Denbighshire and Flintshire as part of our Actif Woods Wales programme. Discover how woodlands can help breathe new life into your soul, while learning to care for the environment.

What happens at Actif Woods Denbighshire and Flintshire?

Actif Woods Denbighshire and Flintshire works with partner organisations to run woodland programmes for health and wellbeing. During these programmes we can offer a range of activities, such as:

Why should I join?

Spending time in woodlands has been proven to lower heart rate and blood pressure, reduce stress hormone production, boost the immune system, and improve overall feelings of wellbeing. Find out more about the benefits of woodlands for health and wellbeing on our Social Forestry for Participants page.

How can I get involved?

During Covid-19, we've been working online to help people connect to nature and woodlands at home and in their local area (click here to find out how we can support you remotely).

As restrictions lift, we're gradually getting back to running our woodland activities in person. Go to our events page or on our Facebook page for updates, or get in touch
