Calon Meddwl Corff (Heart Mind Body)

Heart, Mind, Body Support is a community led project supported by Coed Lleol (Small Woods Wales) and ecodyfi, in liaison with Trywdd Iach / Outdoor Health. In this time of crisis, it aims to help, reach out and improve wellbeing.

The project offers free online live sessions with local community and professional facilitators located in Machynlleth to support people at home during lockdown. Sessions include yoga, nature connection, fitness, dance, meditation, sharing, chi gong, singing, art and more.

Online Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course

We are pleased to offer this 8 week course from trained mindfulness teacher Dr Julia Wallond. The course offers mindfulness and yoga practices and applies them to everyday life situations. We will learn tools to support ourselves in facing and reducing our stress reactions and find ease in the present moment. There is increasing evidence to suggest that MBSR can help effectively manage stress-related conditions including anxiety, chronic pain and sleep disturbances.

8 week course starts Tuesday 16th March from 2.30-4pm

The course is funded through donations. Everyone is welcome, whatever your financial means. If you can contribute you are invited to make a donation.
