BRINGING WOODLANDS TO LIFE

Dyfi Biosphere Outdoor Health

Coed Lleol/Small Woods Wales are working in partnership with Ecodyfi to build a collaborative network of health, environmental & tourism practitioners in the Dyfi Biosphere area.

We aim to:

  • Increase social prescribing opportunities & pilot outdoor nature-based activities
  • Bring health & well-being opportunities to local people
  • Improve the local environment

The project offers free outdoor activities:

  • Wednesday Walking
  • Nature Discovery
  • Outdoor Craft
  • Gardening on Tuesdays or Thursdays
  • Time with Animals

We are delighted that along with Ecodyfi we have been successful with securing Big Lottery funding which will enable us to reinvigorate and expand this project in the coming months.  Watch this space for news of the next launch.
