Join this year's Big Butterfly Count

16 Jul 2021

At Small Woods we are passionate about supporting local woodlands and their ecology, which is why we're exited that this year's Big Butterfly Count kicked off today and will run until Sunday 8th August.

Organised by the charity Butterfly Conservation, the Big Butterfly Count is a national survey which asks people all over the UK to become citizen scientists and help track butterflies in their local areas.

Getting involved means downloading a butterfly identification chart or app from the survey's website and spending 15 minutes recording which butterflies you find. For all the information, go to the Big Butterfly Count website.
