With more than 30 years experience of delivering courses and training, Small Woods has gained a reputation for high quality teaching and professionalism. Most courses take place at the well-equipped Green Wood Centre in Coalbrookdale, Telford. We have indoor and outdoor teaching areas that provide versatile spaces for our diverse range of courses.
We work in partnership with approved external providers to deliver courses across the UK. We expect all courses to meet the high standards that have been established over the years and use only experienced professionals and woodland practitioners as tutors.
Small Woods strives to ensure the best quality learning experience by keeping numbers low. Our courses, unless otherwise specified, are suitable for all levels of experience and ability.
Small Woods are keen to ensure skills in Green Wood Crafts, Woodland Management and Social Forestry are taught to a high and consistent standard and have developed a suite of Open College Network accredited courses.
All courses are taught by experienced tutors who are practitioners in the areas they teach. They are designed to provide the knowledge needed to allow participants to continue improving their skills and are suitable for anyone wishing to improve their knowledge to a recognised standard.
Your course fee includes tools, equipment and materials.
