Kohlrosing is a traditional Scandanavian technique of decorating a piece of wood with lines or patterns and then filling it with a dark material or powder such as charcoal or coffee grounds. Milk paint is a thin, non-toxic, water based paint which enhances the natural beauty and grain of wood with an added touch of colour.

You will learn:

  • How to create incisions with a knife
  • What materials can be used and how to fill your pattern
  • Finishing techniques
  • How to mix and prepare milk paint
  • How to use it effectively to enhance your spoons
  • Your tutor will be Pete Llywellyn
