We are delighted to announce that Adam Purnell - Shropshire Lad, has taken over The Green Wood Cafe, which will now be known as 'Embers'.
Adam is a local chef from Coalbrookdale who won Heston Blumenthal’s show ‘Crazy Delicious’ on Netflix and Channel 4, had a guest slot on Nadia Hussein’s show ‘Fast Flavour’ and more recently, was a critic on MasterChef the Professionals where he was described as ‘one of the leaders in the UK street food and pop-up scene’. His speciality is ‘fire cookery’ and we can't wait to see what he will be serving up this spring when the cafe opens.
