GROWING TOGETHER

Project Extension for the Cynefin Green Health Hub, Carmarthenshire

26 Jun 2025

We are pleased to announce, that following an extension of funding, project work will continue, in partnership the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, at the Cynefin Green Health Hub in Carmarthenshire.

We will be offering a blend of 6-week wellbeing programmes as well as one-off activity days throughout 2025. We are able to offer a variety of sessions, from bushcraft and whittling, to foraging and nature connection. Additionally, there’ll be opportunities to get involved as a volunteer if you’re looking to gain experience and develop skills in woodland management and conservation.

“We’re thrilled to be offered the opportunity to extend our work as part of an important development for students and communities in Carmarthenshire. There is an ever growing need for nature-based activities for the improvement of health and wellbeing and the Cynefin site is an ambitious longer-term project to have a dedicated hub for a wealth of different types of activities to benefit social prescribing” Alison Moore – Social Forestry and Wellbeing Manager, Coed Lleol (Small Woods Association)
