This special event offers a chance to see first-hand how principles of resilience and sustainable timber management are being put into practice. 

We’re delighted to be joined by Jim Waterson and Chris Keeler, who will lead an informative walk and talk through the woodland. They’ll share their insights on how Old Leys Wood is being managed to balance timber production with ecological resilience  - demonstrating practical techniques and discussing species choice, habitat considerations, and future-proofing woodland in the face of environmental change.
