Feasibility Study - Machynlleth Bro Ddyfi Community Hospital and Wellbeing Centre - Powys

A feasibility study project that asks - 'How can the new community hospital and wellbeing centre in Machynlleth act as a springboard for outdoor activities for the health and wellbeing of staff, patients and the local community, alongside the centre's clinical care?"
 
The project, which runs from September 2023 - March 2024, is led by Coed Lleol in partnership with Ecodyfi, a local development Trust and a steering group of representatives including the health board, surgery, Powys Associaton of Voluntary Organisations and the Patient's Forum. 

The study will include a series of community events, a survey and a report with recommendations. This study builds on work by Coed Lleol and Ecodyfi in creating a network for 'green social prescribing' and pathways for people to access health and wellbeing opportunities outdoors, in collaboration with many local stakeholders.
